I'm a twentysomething small town journalist with an incurable addiction to baseball and live music. I work as hard as I play. I grew up in Iowa, but also lived in Texas for four years, which is when and how I fell in love with the sport of baseball, courtesy of the Texas Rangers. Since spring of 2005, I have attended more than 50 major league baseball games (mostly Rangers games) and countless minor league games. Now that I'm back in Iowa, I have to work harder to keep up with my boys in Ranger blue, but fortunately there's a minor league affiliate nearby so I can get my baseball fix. I can't believe it took me 25 years to fall in love with baseball, but I'm so thankful I found it. Through this amazing game, I have met some incredible people -- new friends and some of my favorite boys of summer. I'll share some of my thoughts and adventures in this blog.
